Boise Happenings

Yesterday we packed everything in our apartment in Orem and we have half-way made the move to Seattle. We're visiting Jared's family in Boise until Tuesday. We pulled into J's home at about 9:30 last night and we were up until almost 1:00 catching up with everyone! We don't see J's family a tenth as much as we see mine so it's really fun when we can get together.

We took Ruby, the family's bloodhound, for a walk first thing this morning. It's kind of tradition. When me and J are in town, we walk the dog (even in the snow of the winter). We're aspiring to be great dog owners.

This afternoon Jared and the boys went golfing. I'm pretty sure this event will be the highlight of his summer. He is an avid golfer and loves spending time with his bros and dad. We all talked about golf for about an hour before they left. REMEMBER, I am the WORST golfer you could imagine. Most of my swings actually miss the ball completely, and I could never dream of aiming where the little ball goes. Ughhh. By the looks of things, I need to get with it and learn a little golf.

Jared's sister Jaime, who is ten and also my best friend in Boise, joined me to run an errand or two and to visit the mall. Man the girl can shop! We checked out clothing stores, a pet store (yes, in the mall), Baskin Robins, and Claires was the highlight of the trip. Jaime and I spent a good half hour browsing the selection of earrings and sunglasses. She bought a couple of new earrings and a cute earring holder. Here we are after the fact organizing her jewelry collection.

A few more days of vacation, and then we're back to work. I'm really looking forward to my internship, and hopefully it's half as fun as I think it will be. We start work on Wednesday, and I will be sure to update you all. Cheers!
