9 months!!

if three months was a breakthrough from that newborn stage of sleep deprivation & being stuck in the house, then 9 months feels like another breakthrough with so much more freedom! emery is easier than ever before. we can go out to eat and she sits in a high chair and eats with us. she can eat in ways other than breastfeeding allthetime, she's happy in the car with toys or baby einstein, she is absolutely enjoyable! i love this age. so content!

she started crawling at about 8.5 months. she entertains herself with cords, papers, kitchen utensils, shoes and those stupid white door stoppers that come off and are the perfect choking hazard! she has an eye for the smallest piece of garbage laying on the floor, and she's so good with her index finger and thumb that she can pick up even the smallest of pieces.

love my emmie!

So super adorable!! I agree, it just seems to get easier the older they get. I know some people are way into the little baby stage, but each new thing my little guy learned to do just made life more fun (in my opinion).
Thanks for the update, I was having Emery withdrawals. :)
p.s. I don't know if you saw Lauren (from BYU Accounting) and I just started a personal finance blog (www.moneyhipmamas.com). We're tapping old alumni for guest posts--let me know if you'd ever consider guest posting (it wouldn't be for months--so no rush). You could write about any topic. Let me know if that's something you'd be interested in because you're a perfect candidate.

She's such a cutie. I love the pictures and the descriptions of sweet lil E. She's a doll, just like her Momma! Let's do lunch soon - all 3 of us :)
