m.i.a.

i feel a little "missing in action" as of lately. i wish i had great news to share like i've been travelling the world or volunteering to help the needy. i've actually been hitting the books like a mad woman for the last. time. ever. graduation here i come in oh, 2 weeks. typing the words puts a smile on my face.

my mom is getting all domestic and into sewing lately (i've never known her to do a single task more than attach a fallen button to a shirt), but with grandma's help we threw these together last saturday.

they are so simple and easy. i have to say i've developed this love for the fabric store too. i can spend oodles of time pooring over the crazy patterns and colors. each one is so unique, and then to start mixing and matching them. mmm... i'm a fan.

of course zach and marshall have already poked fun at the apron, and stub thought i was a little crazy to be sewing one too. but hey, i think its adorable and even better that it's made by me.

p.s. what do i do about the hideous cap and gown attire for graduation? i don't think there's anything that can help that outfit. maybe some colored heals? eek!

love the apron!! I think the ruffles are fab! And yes... colored heels and lovely jewelry accessories are going to be the only hope in semi redeeming the hideousness of the cap and gown ensemble. xoxo

So cute! I don't know about easy though. Last year I started making a cute apon I still haven't fished. I call it my prom-dress apron. Hey, you should wear your apron over your gown. = )

I LOVE the apron! So adorable. I know what you mean about the ugly cap and gown. I do agree that colored heels and cute jewlery are the only answer.

We are almost DONE!!
