Welcome to the Family

It's a 6-week old English Bulldog!

BUT...

I'm just kidding.

What I meant to say is I wish we had a new addition to our family.

My point is to tell you that I held my aunt's new puppy, and she's so snuggly. She's got skin hanging everywhere, and I can't get enough of her puppy breath.

I keep telling Jared this is our future dog, that is a French Bulldog. The breed is a little smaller and would fit so perfectly as a Lish.

Graduation Celebration

Although I should be writing a research paper discussing international intellectual property right laws and enforcement--YUCK,

I'm researching potential graudation trips for J and me.

Option 1: Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

It's new to both of us, direct flights leave SLC daily, plus the sun, sand and a margarita could do a lot to calm my nerves in April. Cabo gets my vote.

Option 2: San Diego

I've never been. Jared is a fan. This spot proves more affordable as we could definitely drive the Jettstar. Plus the weather has to be warmer than Provo, and who can say no to the beach?Thumbs up here.

Option 3: Italy

Two words: yeah right. May 2 my cousin Claudia weds her fiance in the Leini church. Sigh. I need to quickly face the fact that I'm not going.

Someday this will be my dream come true to take Jared with me and show him every square inch of this blessed country.

Thoughts...

All options break the buget (there really is no budget--it's called debt), but you're only graduates once. Any other stellar ideas?

A New Addition to My Wishlist

Everyone has to have a wishlist, right? Well, I’ve got my eye on a beautiful piece of equipment made by Niikon. Right now I have a great little snap-and-shoot camera that fits right in my purse, and I love it. The problem is that I’ve seen how freakin’ awesome the big old photographer cameras are. They’re also big in price, and I might get lucky to see one in a year or two. So, you ask, what makes them so great? First off, no more professional photographer fees. I would be able to shoot portraits and family shots on my own schedule. Also, I would be able to take all of Jared’s action shots playing basketball, baseball, golf (okay, no action shots there), and skiing. And nobody freak out. I’m not pregnant, but I could take such great shots of the kids. Ahhhhhh. For the mean time, I’m going to keep dreaming.
